Websites that amuse me… [Summer’s sweltering heat edition]

It's in the 90's this week and the heat index is consistently over 100. Today's supposed to be the hottest day with temperatures approaching 100 and the heat index shooting for 110. So it's a bit rough outside and I'm not looking forward to the electricity bill.
This particular list started earlier in the summer but has been languishing on the sidelines for awhile. There’s not an overall theme or continuity, and I apologize if any of these are rather dated.
